The debut direction of Bangaru ‘Kalgejje’ Kannada film is progressing fast at the temple town Melkote. The title song for the film Malegalada Manjina Hani Hani Kalgejje Nadha….a classical song composed in two ragas by music director Gandharva and sung by Dr SPB was captured by cameraman Veenus Murthy in the rain effect featuring eminent dancer and actor Sridhar and actress Roopika. This is the imagination song of the hero Vishwas.

For the first time the internationally acclaimed Bharathanatyam dancer and famous Kannada film actor Sridhar is appearing in a song number. He is not dancing in this song but he is a classical Vidwan comes only in this song. The song composed by music composer Gandharva is extraordinary and it range is equal to Ghantasala’s Shivashankari….song and Dr Rajakumar sung Aradhisuve Madhanari…..said Sridhar addressing the media at Melkote the prominent religious place of Vishistadwaitha (followers of Sri Ramanuja philosophy).

Director Bangaru is happy not because the shooting of 40 percent talkie portion and four songs have been completed with ease but because of the appreciation he received from versatile actor Ananthnag and Sumithra for his style of functioning. Bangaru worked as assistant in the camp of actress Sumithra’s husband top director D Rajendra Babu and another noted director S Mahender before taking up his independent direction.

Roopika has a role stitched for her as she is a Bharathanatyam dancer from last 10 years. Yet the role is very challenging and one should get luck to perform in this type of role she expressed gladly. Actor Vishwas thanking for a well defined role disclosed the performance of a mother sentiment scene was his best so far.

Gandharva has scored music for six songs and also written three of them say this will be a very good musical love story. This is the 11th film of cameraman Veenus Murthy.

Producer Nagabhushan an industrialist in Ink and Chemical manufacturing with executive producer Byre Gowda is happy so far for the no compromise in making of the film ‘Kalgejje’.
